Microsoft discontinues support for Windows 2000 and Windows XP SP2
13 July 2010 is the day that that Microsoft ends support for Windows 2000 and Windows XP SP2. After this date, neither Microsoft nor Axon will be able to provide new patches or software updates to protect Windows 2000 or Windows XP SP2 operating systems against exploitation, security flaws or application incompatibilities.
